Version 1.1 is definitely a big step forward for the Software Informer Client. It has retained all the positive features of the previous version, but at the same time there are many new great features to boast.
The highlights we are all used to are still there. First, you get notifications about important updates of your software and can directly manage your installed programs. Second, you get a nice overview of your activity on Software Informer: who responded to your comments, who answered the questions you asked, what the latest articles are about, etc. And of course integration with the Software Informer site allows for seamless searching for the best software and sharing your experience with other users.
One of the most distinctive features of the new version is the separate Drivers tab, where you can get the latest info about the state of your device drivers. As a rule, the drivers are the most difficult software to keep track of, so having a designated place for managing them is a very helpful feature.
Another massive update to the SI Client is the revamped Launcher, an add-on to the Start menu allowing for quick access to the most frequently used software. It's just really handy when the most needed programs are just two clicks away from you.
All in all, this version feels more comfortable and easier to use than the previous ones. The new features present a nice and logical development of the original SI concepts, spicing them up with fresh new ideas.

It doesn't appear to keep the pages referring to my installed software up to date.
For example, Google Chrome has an update today Version 129.0.6668.101 (Official Build) (64-bit) but the latest version of Google Chrome quoted on Software Informer is version 127.0.6533 which was really quite a long time ago, something like 3 years ago I believe
